Job Description

Air Canada is seeking to employ a Sales Account Manager Leisure BELUX (male or female – permanent -full time) in Brussels, Belgium. 
Scope of the Position:
He/She will manage the commercial relationships with an existing portfolio of leisure travel agents, tour operators and OTA’s in the Belux region.  This in close relationship with the Atlantic Joint Venture partners.  He/She will assist in the development of the online sales and distribution strategy for Belux and this in close cooperation with the EMEA team and headquarter.  He/She will support the GM in all commercial activities.
Key Function & Accountabilities: 
Build & maintain profitable sales & market shares for Air Canada in the Belux transatlantic leisure market in close cooperation with the A++ partners.
Manage and review the relations with travel agents and tour operators in order to identify and improve revenue opportunities.
Explore new sales leads to improve group sales and direct web sales. 
Ensure AC anticipates to market & competitor trends and threats in the leisure market.
Drive the successful implementation of leisure agreements and commercial partnerships.
Ensure sales activities are within the cost of sale target
Participate in developing the annual Benelux sales and marketing plan
Assist and support marketing activities of AC and partners in the Belux market
Plan, participate and represent AC in various industry events, workshops and trade fairs
Actual duties and responsibilities may include any or all of the functional duties & responsibilities listed above plus any other related tasks as assigned by the employee’s superior

Job Requirements

Experience & Business Knowledge:
- Min. 5 years airline or travel industry experience with a minimum of 2 years in an external sales role.
- Strong Customer focus
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, energetic, team player, dynamic and creative
- Experience in account management, sales & negotiation skills
- Clear understanding of the airline market, particularly with regards to leisure and online travel sales
- Ability to work with figures combined with good analytical skills 
- Strong organizational skills 
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English
- Good knowledge of Windows and MS office
- Ability to work and live in Belgium
