What will you be doing?
As an Assistant Aeropolitical Affairs, you will be responsible for the collection & analysis of internal & external information within your area of expertise.
You will attend events such as aeropolitical forums, conferences, etc… which are relevant for our business.
You will represent your Directors within the mandate given, in some of the aeropolitical forums and will act as an ambassador for our entire TUI organization.
As an Assistant Aeropolitical Affairs you will keep track of the newest market developments and trends.
You will support the Directors in their day-to-day duties and provide strategic advice and ideas.
You will give assistance in the daily operations of the Directors by organizing meetings, contacting relevant stakeholders, etc…
You will be responsible for preparing and contributing to positioning papers for internal & external usage, in close collaboration with your Directors.
You will keep the stakeholder map up-to-date and centralize all aeropolitical matters, making sure we define the correct priorities and objectives.
You will support and optimize best practice sharing between Belgium & The Netherlands by liaising with your Directors and spot optimization opportunities.
 

Job Requirements


What are we looking for?
You hold at least a Master’s degree in a relevant area (for example Legal, Political Sciences, Economics).
You have a strong interest in the aviation industry and you’re eager to attain an in-depth knowledge of aeropolitical an industry affairs.
You are fluent in Dutch and English. A good knowledge of French is required.
You are a strong communicator with the proven ability to influence, develop a strong network of contacts throughout the industry and gain support and commitment from stakeholders across the business and third parties.
You excel in a hands-on mentality and the ability to work, always innovating, in a rapidly changing environment, prioritizing accordingly.
You have the ability drafting correspondence, position papers and briefing notes on strategic aeropolitical and policy issues.
You work in a structured and coordinated matter with attention to detail and accuracy
You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and an eye for structured presentations
Occasional travel within Europe will be required. Structural travel between BE and NL will be required.
