Job Description

Position Summary:
Sales Executive role is to increase business travel sales from groups and transients for the hotel by activating new accounts and growing the existing ones through a structured and pro-active sales approach; Role’s responsibility is to achieve accommodation and banqueting revenue targets for his/her portfolio and therefore support achievement  of the hotel’s budget, market share and brand awareness on the local market. 
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for Total Account Management for all market segments with the aim to exceed hotel targets 
Establish and maintain relationship with account contacts to build trust and maintain loyalty.
Monitor account production on a quarterly basis to identify variances and market trends
Tele-prospecting calls to new clients and tracking leads from A-Z
Create, prospect and maintain contact with regular and new clients
Responsible for actively seeking for new business opportunities for each of the above segments
Responsible for keeping account management record up to date.
Follow Hilton values and sales disciplines when meeting with clients.
Conduct sales calls/ appointments through structured research calls.
May be required to travel to other locations to represent the hotel on sales calls, work-shops or trade fairs. 
Assist in the selling and converting large groups, meetings or conventions in collaboration with the Conference & Events department.
Contribute to reporting 
Active follow up on key loyalty members (HHonors and other initiatives)
Attend weekly/monthly Sales Communication meetings with management team to say ahead of negative trends
Present at all hotel activities as network events, loyalty cocktails, charity initiatives and FAM-trips.
Maintain good relationship with Hilton Worldwide Sales offices and Hilton Field Sales (travel agency sales executive) 

Job Requirements

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of sales related experience in Hospitality, ideally on the Brussels market.
Presentation skills and experience using effective verbal and written communication skills. 
Degree in Hospitality Management or similar.
Driving Licence cat. B.
Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch.
Proficiency in Mircosoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
