Job Description

• Proactively manage and grow existing accounts of the hotel.
• Prospect and materialize new business from respective market segments (mainly Corporate & MICE)
•  Responsible for delivering the budgeted projected revenue on Corporate accounts.
• Implement account strategic plan for each of the top accounts.
• Perform regular cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
• Responsible for managing the relationship and market share penetration of a portion of the hotels Top Accounts.
• Negotiating the terms of agreements and closing sales.
• Gathering market and customer information and communicate accordingly with the sales leader.
• Overcome objections with a positive attitude and driven by getting the customer to buy.
• Communicate efficiently the special offers /developments/ special promotions.
• Maintain accurate and up to date account data and reporting
• Active participation to hotel’s events, sales blitzes, networking events and /or Fairs /workshops.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor degree.
- Pro-active Hotel sales experience of at least 3 years.
- Knowledge of Brussels hotel market, experience with Hilton is a plus.
- Strong proactive selling skills, experienced in group / catering and business travel sales.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English, French (Dutch is a +).
- Strong team player, excellent people skills and able to work independently.
- Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
- Present ideas, expectations and information in a well-organized manner.
- Manage group or interpersonal conflict situations effectively and constructively.
- Outgoing personality and willingness to serve.
- Timeliness and accuracy in work and assignment.
- Ability to understand and evaluate market data.
- Good understanding of Revenue Management analysis.
- Able to develop accounts’ strategy short and long term.
- Ability to coordinate and work on multiple tasks simultaneously, good organizer
- Executes additional tasks, given by her / his manager
